Get your PG&E “Green Button” file
This is the standard energy-usage export PG&E provides to every customer. It takes about 3 minutes.
- Sign in at pge.com and open Energy Usage Details.
Account & Meter → “View energy usage” / “Energy Usage Details”. - Click the Green Button and choose Download my data.
- Pick CSV format and a date range of the last 12 months (or “Export usage for a range of days”).
- Click Export and save the file (a
.csv, sometimes inside a.zip). - Come back here and upload it below.
Don't see the Green Button, or on a phone?
On mobile the option may be under “All usage and rates tasks”. If PG&E gives you a
.zip, unzip it first and upload the .csv inside. XML files also work.
